Northport Chamber of Commerce

Visitor Centers & Chambers · Traverse City, MI

The Northport-Omena Chamber of Commerce serves as the heartbeat of two historic Leelanau Peninsula villages that have welcomed visitors since the 1800s. These twin communities began as logging ports and fishing villages, with Norwegian and Swedish immigrants establishing roots that still run deep today. The Chamber connects travelers to local treasures tucked along Grand Traverse Bay's shoreline - from family-run cherry orchards to artisan studios housed in century-old buildings. Their local knowledge unlocks hidden gems that most tourists miss, making them your essential first stop for authentic northern Michigan adventures.
