Joe's Friendly Tavern

Bars & Pubs · Traverse City, MI

You'll find Joe's Friendly Tavern tucked away on the Leelanau Peninsula, and honestly, it's become my go-to spot for everything. Start your morning with their hearty breakfast, then swing by later for craft beer and handcrafted cocktails that actually taste like someone cares about what they're making. The wine selection showcases local Leelanau wineries alongside solid picks from elsewhere. Kids are welcome, the staff remembers your name, and there's always a game on if you want to catch up on sports. Real neighborhood tavern vibes without the pretense.
