Bruce and Debbie Simpson planted their first vines in 1980 on a rolling hillside overlooking Lake Michigan, creating what would become one of Leelanau Peninsula's most beloved wineries. Good Harbor Vineyards earned its reputation through meticulous attention to both traditional and hybrid grape varieties that thrive in this unique microclimate. The tasting room, housed in a converted barn, maintains the unpretentious charm that has drawn wine lovers here for decades.
